Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is the country music and pop artist. After releasing two singles and an album entitled Satisfied in 2007, she established an ensemble called Pistol Annies with Angaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert and released her 2nd album titled Like a Rose in 2013. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for over 15 years. She was the majority of that time as the city's deputy manager in Iowa City. As the Assistant Village Manager her current responsibilities include overseeing the Community Development and Building Department as well as completing various the various projects. As a part of Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of village services and taking on the strategic plan of the elected officials and the entire community. Ashley's previous roles include the budgeting and planning of government communications, the management of staff and collective negotiations. Ashley is also passionate about climate change. Ashley's engagement with national organisations and work within communities with diverse populations have given her insights into how organizations of all sizes function. Ashley's lectures focus on the present approach to management and leadership in public organizations from an experienced professional. Ashley's emphasis on adapting to changing circumstances and challenges while navigating the complexities of intergovernmental and community relations, and making ethical decisions provides context for both aspiring professionals and those currently working in public organisations.
